I am concered about my tyglycerite level and need more information about how to lower it.

Dr, I am a 28 yr old male. I had recently carried out my Lipid profile and foll. results were seen: Total Cholesterol: 163 mg/dl HDL: 41 mg/dl LDL:68 mg/dl VLDL:54 mg/dl Triglycerides: 272 mg/dl I am concerned abt my Trigly levels. Presently I am avoiding all type of Sugars. Please tell me how will i reduce Trigly to 'normal' levels?
