I am 26years Old I had an auto accident in 11-06-03 (today is 5-8-05) Which caused small herniated disk of c6 and c7 and now I just got word I have SLAP 2 Lesion in right shoulder and I need surgery. What I want to know is is there anyone out there that had good results from arthroscopy or what other things are out there to help me. It doesn't sound like a fun experience and a long recovery. I'm not a rock climber or athlete, I am a graphic Artist I use my right hand(bad shoulder) and I am not able to do as must stuff or work like I use to. Now if I have the surgury I have to wear a sling for 4-6weeks and then PT for 3-6 months. Does anyone think if I had the surgury I will be able to get back to my job which I love. I have alot of pain now will it be worth it. Which I won't be going back to anything to Physical. I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis (Dianotis 1986) I'm dealing with my car insurance and they feel everything is realated to my RA and not the accident which i did not have any problem with neck and should till after accident. What I am asking is there ANY chance this is RA related. Please Help me Out I am freeking out Here
