Was wondering if anyone had been diagnosed with an ultrasensitive esophogus and how you have obtained relief from it? It feels like a cut or sore in the center of my chest. It feels worse when I smell smoke or chemicals. The pain is excruciating and if I stand up it helps somewhat. Antacids do not seem to work, including prescriptions. I have been to the Mayo Clinic and understand that no research is being done. Any help would be very much appreciated.
