Hi Lu,[br][br]It is important to stay fit, exercise regularly and eat healthy. There are lot of cardiovascular exercises that your friend can do and fix a routine and follow it,apart from that a heart specialist could be consulted and a good balanced diet can be planned to avoid fats and anything that may hamper the condition of heart of the person and regular practise improved eating habits and exercise should get your friend back in shape and live healthy without worrying about more heart attacks.[br][br] A picture of a Happy Family who stay young and healthy at HEART! Any kind of exercise will help to strengthen the heart and prevent future heart attacks. One of the major steps anyone should take to improve heart health and prevent heart disease is to exercise regularly--preferably 30-60 minutes every day.[br][br] Other steps she can take to improve her heart health are to quit smoking (if she smokes), eat less red meat and fried foods, and maintain a healthy weight. (She can test her body mass index to see if she is at a healthy weight here.)

Dear Lu, I feel sorry for your friend that she got heart attack at such a young age! I can't believe! I think she must be very depressed. Instead of swimming, which is not going to be very helpful, I suggest you to talk to her, bring her to shopping, eating more often.

My friend is only 23, and got her first heart attack. She was heard from some one that swimming is good for her to kind of exercise her heart? I have never heard of this saying. Is it true? Has anyone heard of this?
