<p>I don't think you need to worry about it. From what I've read, panic attacks can cause a temporary spike in blood pressure but don't cause long term issues unless it's really frequent, like every day. You do need to watch out for unhealthy habits that often go along with anxiety, like smoking, drinking, and overeating. </p>

[br]I have panic attacks every couple of weeks, and I'm worried about how they're affecting my overall health, particularly my heart health. When I have a panic attack, my heart races and I can't completely calm down for hours. I know stress can have a negative affect on your heart health. Does anyone have experience with this or thoughts? [br]
