Greetings, my sister suffers from suspected pulmonary hypertension. She is 19 years old and shows no sign of the diease. A pediatric doctor ran an echocardiogram of her which showed a PASP of 117mmhg. We were advised to do a right heart cardiac catherization but her cardiologist from National University Hospital of Singapore is against doing the cath. due to her high pulmonary pressure. Our family would like hear your views on whether she can undergo a cardiac catherization. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
