I agree with both vdevur and ppatel24. You should consult a physician for your problem jeff. Sometimes this is due to increase in cholestrol level. You should get it checked.

I have a cousin who gets these irregular beats too and she consulted the doctor. The doctor told her that it's nothing serious. However, I agree with vdevur. You should see a doctor just to be on the safe side.

Jeff, I think you should consult your doctor first. I would also advice you to exercise regularly to avoid/ mitigate any problems.

I am a 25 year old male that is starting to get a little freaked out. My heart beat at times drops very low with a hard pound into multiple irregular hard beats like it is tryng to catch up. Also, there has been a couple of occasions to where it feels like my heart or lungs are stuck between my ribs and it hurts to breath for a minute... Am I just being paranoid? Jeff
