Hi, My dad has suffered a heart attack and he is taking Lipitor, and it says no grapefruit. hope this helps.

Hi. My grandmother has been looking for confirmation of something she was told for quite a while now. She has been on Coumadin for several years and heard that eating grapefruit can produce a negative effect when combined with any blood-thinners. Does anyone know anything more about that? Can anyone confirm this is true?
