My father just had his triple bypass yesterday and I just got my results and cholesterol is thru the roof. My dr. suggested "The Formula", is a balance of carbs, protein and fat in your diet. (available in most book stores) It works not only for weight, but cholesterol, diabetis, lean muscle mass, I've lost 5 lbs and my energy level has increased after just 1 week. My dr. has opted to wait on medication for me because of my change in diet. Your father won't have to give up anything and anything he doesn't like he can substitute with another carb or protein or fat. It is all listed in the book so there isn't much homework involved. Good luck!

My dad had a triple bypass about 8 years ago. His nutrition is ok, but he "slips" too much (red meat, etc..). Any advice on how to stay on him about this while letting him lead his own life? Thanks.
